AMERICANS CAN VOTE. WHEREVER THEY ARE.  If you are an American citizen, register to vote ASAP.  Go to www.FVAP.gov and fill out the Voter Registration and Absentee Ballot Request Form.

Our 2016/17 Membership Year begins on September 1stHere is the Membership Form.  Membership prices remain unchanged.  Euro 25 – Ridotto for Students 16 and over, Teachers and 65 and over.  Euro 35 – Intero.  Membership is valid until August 31, 2017.  Renew your membership each year to take advantage of the American Film Series, Register for Courses, Use our Library, Participate in Members Only Events.

36th AMERICAN FILM SERIES at Cinema dei Fabbri
The film series begins on October 27th.  The dates are set and the film list will be published in October.  9 great American films in Original Version.

NEWS
US Ambassador to Italy John Phillips and Ambassador Philip Reeker US Consulate General Milan visited us on July 28th, meeting with our Refugee Students and Teachers.  Thanks to a contribution from the US Mission to Italy, the American Corner teaches special English Courses for 60 Refugees

U.S. Social Security – On October 20th a Field Representative from the U.S. Social Security Administration will be at the American Corner.  More details in the October newsletter.

VOLUNTEERS
We are a Volunteer Run Non-Profit Association.
Volunteers run our Library, American Corner Programs and Activities.  We are looking for Volunteers to Mentor and Manage the Teen Club, Assist with the Nati per Leggere program, Work at the Cinema, Help with our Morning Activities.  Send us an email.  We’ll find a role for you!
